The Mesoamerican Centre for Theoretical Physics (MCTP) of the Autonomous University of Chiapas (UNACH) invites students from the Mesoamerican region and Spanish-speaking countries, who are in the final semesters of their undergraduate studies in physics, mathematics, or related fields, to enroll in the Diploma in Theoretical Physics, which will be offered in a virtual format.

The main objective of this diploma program is to strengthen students’ theoretical training in the fundamental areas of physics. Over approximately seven months, participants will acquire basic knowledge in physics, develop analytical and problem-solving skills, and be introduced to scientific research, with a special focus on research methods and computational techniques.

The main objective is to introduce participants to computer science so that they can use this new knowledge to strengthen their skills in their respective areas of work or study. This Diploma Program consists of three intensive courses, each lasting 36 hours.
