Olivera Miskovic
We will introduce AdS/CFT correspondence between anti-de Sitter (AdS) gravity in d+1 dimensions and Conformal Field Theory (CFT) in d dimensions. We shall analyze matching of observables and symmetries between these two theories, and discuss holographic quantum anomalies in even-dimensional CFT.
Olivera Miskovic
In this lecture we will focus on a quantum field theory at the finite temperature. We shall argue that it is holographically dual to a black hole in AdS gravity, with the same Hawking temperature. We will then apply a gauge/gravity duality prescription to build a holographic superconductor and explore its physical properties.
Rodrigo Olea
We review standard techniques that make possible the reconstruction of spacetimes in AdS gravity from the conformal data at the boundary. By the use of a systematic procedure known as Holographic Renormalization, we construct boundary counterterms which render both the gravity action and its variation finite. We discuss on an alternative renormalization scheme for AdS gravity –Kounterterms– which provides a more geometric approach to the problem.

Dr. Olivera Mišković
She is a Serbian-Chilean theoretical physicist formed at Belgrade University. She finished her PhD in Chile at Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH) and Centro de Estudios de Científicos (CECs). She started working on holography in 2004 as a postdoctoral researcher of Máximo Bañados at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC), and she has been working on this subject ever since. At the moment, she is a full professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
Her research interests lie in field theory aspects of gravity (Noether charges, renormalization of the action, (super) gravity theories diverse dimensions, erc.) and black hole physics.
Dr. Rodrigo Olea
He is a Chilean theoretical physicist who got graduated from Universidad de Chile (2001). After a first postdoc at Centro de Estudios de Científicos (CECs, Valdivia), he learnt holographic techniques as a postdoc of M. Bañados at P. Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). He was also a postdoctoral researcher at U. Tecnica Lisboa (with J. Lemos) and at U. degli Studi di Milano (with D. Klemm), and associate researcher at Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
His research focuses on renormalization techniques and computation of holographic properties of gravity actions.
